Using the tools

These tools are offered for general project planning. Results depend on your measurements, package sizes, product coverage, density and allowances. They are not a professional installation quotation or structural design.

Before ordering or building

Check your measurements, supplier quantities, manufacturer instructions and applicable requirements. Confirm property boundaries and underground utilities before fence excavation. Check plant-specific requirements before applying mulch.

Availability and corrections

We aim to provide clear calculations but do not guarantee every site condition or product behavior. If an estimate seems inconsistent, check the displayed formula and assumptions before relying on it. We may correct or update the tools.
